Description | Two adults (family members of the individual who submitted the report)—one male, one female, and one child (6 years old) were traveling by car on a rural road near Geneva, Florida in 1973. The adults were both positioned in the front seats. While the car was passing a large cattle field the adults noticed a perfectly circular object positioned under the moon off the driver’s side of the car. The object was the same size as the moon. The woman said, “How are there two moons?” The man pulled the car over, all three passengers exited the vehicle, and observed the object for the next 15 to 20 minutes. All witnesses stated that the object did not move at all while they were observing it. Finally, after 15-20 minutes the woman said “Well, I guess it’s not going to do anything.” She states that at that exact moment, the object shot instantly up and into a large bank of clouds leaving behind a pink vapor trail. Both witnesses were startled and drove immediately to a small convenience store. The three witnesses entered the store and asked the clerk if he had seen anything like that in the area. He said he had not. The man then used the store phone to call the local radio station to ask if Cape Canaveral was testing or launching anything. The radio station stated that to their knowledge nothing was scheduled. |
