DescriptionThe first of two sightings by the witness occurred on the outskirts of Calgary, Alberta, looking west towards the Rocky Mountains. Two teenage witnesses were stargazing when they noticed what appeared to be a moving star. As they observed, additional lights appeared, forming a formation in the sky. The lights moved in a coordinated fashion, darting and following one another in what seemed like a choreographed pattern. The objects were visible to the naked eye but enhanced with binoculars. After 10 minutes, they suddenly shot upwards and disappeared. The witnesses were left feeling uneasy and scared, interpreting the event as potentially otherworldly. This was never previously reported, and the primary witness later described feeling grateful for the experience. The second sighting occurred two years later in 1998. “was sitting with my son on the back porch of our country house, located in a small rural prairie town called Two Hills, Alberta (1000 residents/a farming community). Our porch looks over a 3-4 blocks of low buildings, with farm land beyond that. I was with my 14 year old son and we were star gazing. We saw a massive black triangle shape, many football fields in size, moving in and starting to take up view of the sky. There is a school building two blocks away from our house and it appeared that this object was moving across the top of the school, not too far above it. It was extremely massive, solid black, no lights, no sound. It was flying low and slow, and it felt close to us as it was only a few blocks away. We watched it travel across over top of the town… It kept moving until we couldn’t see it anymore.”

Witness AssessmentIt felt to me like these were objects not from Earth, and that they were putting on a show for us. It did seem friendly but we still got the creeps from it. We locked all the doors and were both shakey for a few hours. In the years since I have felt grateful to have experienced it.
Additional InfoThis sighting has never been reported anywhere. I had a second similar experience at a nearby location about two years later.
