| Description of Sighting | I was in Rhodes, Greece in the summer of 2023. I filmed a black object (in daylight) as it flew along at a steady pace and it looks very strange…a bit like an Egyptian sarcophagus but upright. I was staying at a hotel called ‘Lindos Horizons’ and it flew opposite me as I looked towards the hill. I have absolutely no idea what it is and am curious if you or anyone else has seen something like this. No sound, definitely powered and moved quite fast at a steady pace UAPSRS Assessment: Rigid, static appearance, lack of altitude deviation, and consistent rate of speed displayed by object in video obtained by witness (included below) is consistent with movement of a balloon carried along by natural air movement. Object in video also bears a superficial resemblance to the purported “Al Taqaddum Object” investigated by the U.S. DoD’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, which followed an initial unauthorized release of video of the object (Additional details on AARO’s assessment of the Al Taqaddum Object can be found here). |
