Description | Around 1967, in Hendersonville, NC, a group of boys including the narrator observed a row of four bright lights at a high altitude moving slowly and silently in a southwesterly direction. The narrator’s friend’s father, a weatherman, reported the sighting to the Asheville Airport control tower, which confirmed no radar detection of an aircraft. A second sighting occurred about 10 years prior to the report, where the narrator and his wife saw a bright light and a reddish jet trail from a cruise ship near Charleston, SC. The incident caused temporary lighting effects in their cabin. |
