DescriptionWhile sitting outside on my patio, my attention was drawn to a bright white object traveling from northwest to southeast and doing so silently. My best guess at altitude would be between 6,000 to 20,000 feet above sea level. I am an aviation hobbyist tracker and quickly checked both FlightRadar24 as well as the ADS-B Exchange website to see if the object I observed was on either of these sources. There was no indicated ADS-B-based data to connect to this object. I commonly hear commercial air traffic above and look to confirm commercial flights but was unable to do so in this case. I have never seen an airplane of any size display the constant bright white light that this object displayed—very strange. UAPSRS ASSESSMENT: Although a satellite or high-altitude balloon cannot be ruled out, the witness’s background as a hobbyist aviation tracker lends some weight to their interpretation of this object as an aircraft. No definitive assessment can be made based on information in the witness description and video provided to UAPSRS.
