DescriptionIt was at a parting party (no alcohol), with class mates from a boarding school. Late that evening, after dark, we stood 3-4 people, out in the yard of a farm. I’m often looking at the night sky, when the sky is clear. And I did that night as well.I noticed a light at in the sky that moved. A bit north of us. Not fast. But at a steady pase. Today I think, much slower than a satelite. I told the other guys and pointed at the object. And we stod there looking at it for some time. It had at rute like a big square. And it took the rute serval times. I remember thinking if it could be a helicopter. But it seemed to bed far to high in the sky. There were no blinking lights either. After talking a bit back and forth about it. The guy – my mate, who lived at the farm, said that he thought it was a satelite. A that time I didn’t have knowledge to argue otherwise. But I remember thinking, if it was, I was surpriced if theyt actually could change direction. Wondering how much energy it would take – but not considering the gravitys effect, that it would need a speed to keep its altitude on its orbit. Many times since that day, that event have poped into my mind. And a few years back I’ve learnd that if it was a satelite, it would have had a straight line. It wouldn’t be able to change direction. After looking at it for quite some time, we didn’t bother looking at it to much. But I remember me finding it it in the sky a couple of times as we talked, before going in to the house again. About the rute it took. It looked like a perfect large square in the sky. Alwas it seemed like it was the same rute. No floodlight or anything other that a star/satelite looking object – to high in the sky with no sound or other indications of a helicopter. The date isn’t acurate. It could be a month earlier or a half month later. But around that month that year.
