| Description | Clear moonlit night. Witness observed a bright light high in the sky, too high for a plane, initially thought to be a satellite. A smaller light emerged and hovered around the larger one, both moving in sync with slight jerking motions before merging and drifting east out of sight. Around the same time, five red-orange spherical lights in a V formation flew from east to west, disappearing within about a minute. The witness lives along the Dublin Airport flight path and is familiar with identifying planes, expressing certainty that the objects were not aircraft. |
