| Description | In the late night of November 12, 1995, in Crowville, Louisiana, four witnesses observed a large, black object resembling a guitar pick or planchette, about the size of a grain silo, near the intersection of Hwy 17 and Hwy 555. The object, noted for its numerous but dim lights, appeared to hover slowly over a grain silo and then vanished as if absorbed into the night sky. The sighting, which occurred in a rural area with minimal light pollution, lasted approximately 10 seconds.
