Description | In mid-July 1987, at Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, near Osage Beach, four friends (two men and two women) witnessed an unexplained event. Around 9 pm, they noticed a round, bright, white light, about 9 inches in diameter, hovering above the water and moving rapidly. The light, initially seen in the treetops across the cove, moved to just 15 feet in front of the witnesses and hovered there briefly before disappearing. There was no sound or heat energy felt from the light, and it seemed to move with precision and high speed. No concrete explanation was found for this phenomenon. |
