| Description | While outside working on a car in Clayton, NJ, the witness observed a brighter-than-usual object moving northeast across the sky at an estimated altitude of 10,000 to 20,000 feet. The object, appearing as a sphere or disc, emitted multiple bright white lights that appeared multicolored when zoomed in on video. The witness cross-checked with a flight tracker app and found no planes or helicopters in the area. The object moved slower than typical air traffic, made no sound, and was not on the usual commercial flight path near Philadelphia International Airport. After the sighting, the witness flew a DJI drone to replicate the visuals but found that the object behaved and appeared differently, ruling out a drone. The sighting matched videos from an incident in China, prompting the witness to file this report despite previous reluctance. |
