Description | In 1966, while driving on a two-lane road in Arden, North Carolina, the witness saw a hovering oval/oblong metallic object about 200 feet long at treetop level. The witness pulled into a side road to view it better, but the object disappeared. There was no sound, and the sighting lasted about 10 seconds. The sighting occurred near the Asheville airport. |
