| Description of Sighting | I took a drive through the South Suburbs of Milwaukee and decided to drive to a boat launch. To get to this particular launch you need to drive down a medium sized hill. While making the turn to come down the hill I saw a large drone hovering over lake Michigan. I stopped to take a few pictures. It looked like a gulfstream airplane with it’s lights on, but very close to land and stagnant in the air. Very close to a gulfstreams size (maybe a bit wider). While taking pictures the drone dropped onto the water. I drove down to the boat launch and the drone tuned off it’s center lights, only leaving it’s lights on it’s edges on. The drone moved to the north end of the general area faster than I’ve seen anything move on water while being able to abruptly stop. Even planes I’ve seen that land on water move a lot differently than this. The drone seemed to be able to move in any direction it wanted to. Meaning there was no regular landing, it went straight down. there was no “pick up of speed” that I could see as it moved north. It just immediately took off north about a mile. As I started leaving the boat launch and began driving back up the hill, the center lights of the drone turned back on. After this the drone left the area. |

| Witness Assessment | It seemed as if it did not want us to see it. We saw the UAP before it saw us. When my trucks light hit a visible area to the sky the UAP immediately moved east and dropped just above the water line. Upon driving closer to the water it turned half of it’s lights off. After a few cars had left, I began leaving the lot. As soon as I began driving on the hill to leave the UAP had turned on lights |
