| Description of Sighting | This was a sighting by my mother and sister in the late 1970s. I found out about this as an adult only about 10 years ago. We were having a garage sale and my sister was in the back room and started screaming. My mother ran from the garage sale to the back of the house to see what was wrong and saw a small silver disc floating in the backyard. The address was I believe [REDACTED] in imperial Nebraska. The object rose about 15 feet in the air and started to move away from the house. Behind the house was a cornfield and as it flew off, my mother jumped in the car to chase after it. She said she watched it fly above the cornfield until the road ran out. It seemed to be pacing her. I looked up Google Earth to see what kind of roads there were there and I think it was probably one to 2 miles before the road ends. She said it just kept flying until she couldn’t see it anymore. They didn’t tell me about this when I was a kid because they knew I would have told everyone! I recently heard a podcast called obscurum about drones flying over Imperial Nebraska and when I heard that I thought maybe I should tell somebody about this. |
