DescriptionIn April 2014 while hiking Brown Mountain Trail in North Scottsdale with his wife, narrator was watching a hawk when he notices a small gray speck in the sky. Laying prone on the ground and observing through 10x sport binoculars, the narrator “saw an object sitting stationary in the sky with no signs or means of propulsion. The object had a shiny metallic, dark grey, slightly rounded, oval to round bottom. Being directly above us, I could not see the actual top of the object, however, the object did seem to wobble on occasion. A couple times when it wobbled I saw a red bar that looked like it might be the lower portion of an insignia. The red bar was slanted on an angle to my left.” Resuming their hike, 20 minutes later the narrator was able to locate the object again in the same spot. Sometime later, the narrator heard a podcast about the 1964 Socorro, New Mexico sighting by police officer Lonnie Zamora, and noted the similarities between the two objects.
