Description | On August 25, 2015, at around 10:15 pm, in the North Beaverdale neighborhood of Des Moines, Iowa, an observer noticed three white lights performing fast, erratic maneuvers in the sky. Initially, two of the lights appeared connected by a faint line before separating, with a third light joining them in a complex, coordinated display resembling a pretzel shape drawn with three pens at once. The sighting lasted about 10 seconds before the lights disappeared behind a tree. The observer, intrigued and excited, attempted to follow the lights with his wife but was hindered by city lights. |
