| Description | The witness, a former military member and director of emerging technologies for a DoD contractor, observed a solid, dark sphere/disc-shaped object with 30-40 orange lights rotating on its underbelly. The sighting occurred near Rome, NY, on 03/07/2024 around 9:30 PM. The object was seen twice for approximately 5 seconds each time, moving extremely slowly from left to right just below the treetop level. The object emitted no sound, and the lights went out suddenly both times. The witness felt a bit freaked out but curious and did not perceive the object as hostile. |
