| Description | Three drone-like objects, each approximately 100 yards apart, were observed flying over Route 35 and Cherry Street in Katonah, NY, at around 500 feet altitude in rainy, low-cloud conditions. Two of the objects continued due west over a reservoir while the third veered north. Each object featured multiple red, green, and white lights that appeared designed to mimic an aircraft. No engine noise was heard, and their presence was not registered on flightradar24. The sighting lasted 5-6 minutes, and the observer noted a distinctly strange impression, particularly with the third object. Despite resembling planes to most passersby, close observation suggested advanced drone technology and intentional deception. UAPSRS ASSESSMENT: Note that this sighting occurred shortly after a wave of similar sightings of alleged “mystery drones” began to be reported over New Jersey and other northeastern states in the final weeks of 2024. Many descriptions of these objects, variously reported to be drone or plane-like, were determined to have been small planes and other conventional aircraft in many instances. |

| Additional Info | This occurrence happened during rush-hour in the rain on a busy road. I’m sure 99% of the people that viewed it out of their peripheral vision would’ve put it as planes. Stopping to actually observe them was a very different experience. |
