| Description | I looked up to see a white light move rapidly (as in faster than any jet) from W to E, but then it disappeared. I then noticed that there wasn’t any cloud about (other than very high cirrus) because I could see Orion in the background. While I was still looking up in amazement, within a few seconds, another light appeared from the NNE, but this light was bright green and it was moving at a much faster speed and moving in a curved path, like a fighter jet, only faster, before it too disappeared, within a few seconds. |

| Witness Assessment | Two lights, I’ll describe more below. My impression was that they weren’t trying to hide. |
| Additional Info | I’m just hoping that MELBOURNE ATC has this on radar. This would be to the south of Melbourne radar. (I used to fly mainly from Essendon, but also into Melbourne about 40 years ago.) |
