| Description | On July 15, 2007, in Bakersfield, CA, three witnesses observed a group of six or seven orange lights, initially thought to be helicopters, moving at 20-100 knots. Upon closer examination with Nikon Monarch Binoculars, the lights were identified as solid objects with an asymmetrical profile, a flat bottom, a top ‘blister,’ and a zig-zag stripe emitting orange light. The objects, observed for about ten minutes, moved towards Edwards Air Force Base and then disappeared. The primary witness, with extensive aviation experience, reported feeling excited, bewildered, and amazed, and filed a report to MUFON. |
