Description | The date of this encounter may not be accurate, as it was so long ago, and we didn’t note down the exact day. It was a warm night, and my Mum and I walked out onto the front porch for some fresh air. We looked up at the stars and, directly above us, there were approx 6 bright orange lights in a random formation, hovering silently. I thought they were individual lights because they didn’t take any particular form or shape. They hovered for about 10 seconds then silently zipped about in a zigzag motion, as one, before disappearing altogether. |

Witness Assessment | It was unlike anything we had ever seen at speeds that seemed impossible, which is what made it stand out. It seemed to know it was being observed, because except about and disappeared fairly quickly after we spotted it. I’ve seen a lot of strange things in the sky since, and I often wondered whether it was because we lived in the same suburb as the Watsonia army barracks. I still live only 10 minutes from the same barracks. The sightings of strange things continue to this day. |
Additional Info | I reported it to an Australian UAP sightings website a few weeks ago. That was my first ever report. |
