| Description | In the mid to late 1960s, near Devil’s Lake in Perham, MN, USA, witnesses observed a UAP while night fishing. The witnesses included a decorated WWII officer and other family members. The UAP was described as a hovering craft with strobing lights that darted across the sky. UPDATE: A family member of one of the primary witnesses, who submitted this report to the UAPSRS, provided the following additional information in a subsequent email sent on June 24,2025: “I believe they were fishing in the evening and when they returned it was getting dark. Overhead they saw a circular object and different colors shot out from it. Then it shot upward at a [tremendous] speed.” |
